About Me
I have always lived at Ashridge, Bideford. After attending local schools I then trained in Agriculture. Whilst there has been many changes in farming practices I maintain great respect for the natural environment.
Ashridge has been the family home since 1884. Today, an agricultural and self-catering holiday business is run from the holding
Joy and I married in 1977. Joy's parents are from farming families originating in Buckland Brewer. Joy qualified as an occupational therapist working in the NHS specialising elderly dementia community care.
My core beliefs' are based on self-reliance, hard work and an equality of opportunity for everyone. A grass roots approach to neighbourly support is the basis of strong communities.
I have always sought to put my beliefs' into practical actions for the best of the community to which I belong.
